Paolo Staccioli experiments with new forms modeled with lightness and irony, and thus appear the first harlequins, warriors, travelers and dolls. The characters on the items seems to free themselves from the two-dimensional surface of the vase becoming sculpture. The sculptures which acquire a greater plastic mass, over the years achieves greatness without sacrificing immediacy.
