The glass is carefully crafted by hand using the Balloton technique, in which a metal mold is used to create a relief effect. The latest version of this glass features new, colorful elements, intricate shapes, and versatile uses. Despite these changes, it remains true to the traditional Balloton method, which adds a distinct texture – both visually appealing and pleasant to the touch – to the surface of the glass. This texture is created by using metal to etch a rhomboid pattern into the glass. The Balloton Lamp is available as a hanging light, a wall-mounted light, and a table lamp.
